Positive: An absolutely perfect stay! The location is perfect; nestled among the rice paddies and greenery with views of Rinjani from the villa's terraces. Very peaceful and tranquil with the sounds of crickets, birds and the local mosques. The pool was large and refreshing and the perfect place to cook down. The villas are spotless and we feel represent excellent value for the quality of service received. The restaurant on site serves delicious food, we'd highly recommend the egg curry, goat satay, coconut satay and vegetable bowl. Learning to cook some of the dishes with Faridah is an absolute must. But what really makes it is the hospitality of the hosts and staff. Aiya and Faridah were phenomenal with our young family; playing with them, showing them around the villa, talking to them, finding different fruits for them to try, doing their hair and even taking them on a scooter ride. It felt as though we were staying with friends and family. Ydi and Indra are fantastic at organising tours in the local area, we really enjoyed coffee processing

Negative: The fact we had to leave 😭, we would have loved to have stayed much longer

Positive: Stunning location in the rice fields and when the clouds clear an amazing view of Mt Rinjani. Clean room with good aircon. Great pool. Tasty smoothie bowl, overall food was reasonable. Lots of improvements happening when we were there. Hot shower ☺️

Negative: Is located near enough a road that privacy can be a bit of an issue so you just have to be a bit mindful to cover up going between the pool and the room (we were at the villa on the end). There was an animal of some sort in the wall right near our heads, scratching about during the whole night and quite loud so we didn't get much sleep that night. Wasn't as bad the following night but we could still hear it scratching. Told the owner after the first night but nothing was done so we did some furniture rearranging to get away from the sounds

Positive: The houses and the area are wonderful. The people of Tetebatu are so kind and welcoming throughout the entire village. Hidden Villa helped us book tours around the area and were helpful with basically everything

Negative: It’s quite remote and you feel that. You will need a driver or a scooter to get around. You can’t easily do walks around the accommodation. They run a restaurant so food is not difficult to get.

Positive: Wow! This is a gem in that area! Such a welcoming team, we had delicious homemade fresh cooked meals in the restaurant. The hotel located in the rice and pineapple fields, so must try their pineapple juice 😁 the room was clean, spacious, the shower was hot! They also have a huge pool, but we didn’t get a chance to use it. Also, they have a good WiFi! They don’t mention it on their welcome page, but the signal is great, I was able to work with no interruption. Thank you to the entire team 🙏

Positive: Lombok Hidden Village is a truly lovely place run by wonderful people. Great clean rooms, amazing pool and restaurant area. We had an amazing few days with lovely tours of the Monkey forest, rice fields, waterfalls and local villages. If you’re into cooking go for their cooking class, a great way to learn Indonesian food. Special thanks to Toni for being n excellent guide and Udi for being a great host.

Negative: Not a problem for us, but it is not close to any other restaurants

Positive: Hidden Villas is a great option for modern, clean accommodation in Tetebatu. Udi and his team are super friendly and took us out on some great adventures to the Paddy fields, waterfalls etc. The food at Hidden Villas is great and is very good value, they have a swimming pool and bar opening soon which will make it 10/10

Negative: They could add some sofas or lower level seating in the communal area for relaxing, maybe at the bar by the pool.

Positive: breakfast was basic. other foods were good. the room was spacious. staff were very friendly

Negative: the area is burning garbage throughout the day and the air stinks of smoke. it is really isolated
