Positive: We stayed for three nights in a simple yet charming homestay surrounded by rice fields. Every morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast and the peaceful surroundings. With Alek, we did two tours (village & monkey forest, waterfall, and rice fields), which were truly amazing! The hospitality was wonderful. On our first evening, food was already waiting for us when we arrived hungry. The location is about a 20-minute walk from tourist restaurants, but the warm and caring atmosphere more than makes up for it. Our last night by the campfire with some locals was the perfect ending to our stay!

Positive: A new and fresh location with 3 villas which we booked for our family of five. Alek and Marley were great hosts, going out of their way to make our stay a great experience. They cook nice meals, simple and tasty, arrange scooters, excursions, local rice wine and bintang on request and share good stories on Tetebatu culture.

Negative: We really liked the quite secluded place everything is well within scooter distance, but you do need them to get around. For us just as we like it!

Positive: The homestay is the best in all of Lombok. Best price and by far the best host ever!! Alek was very informative of the local culture, took us to local events, and arranged tours and transportation up until our departure. I can’t say enough about Alek and his kindness and hospitality! 10/10 would stay here again no question about it!!

Negative: If I HAVE to say something here it’s that I like super cold AirCon and these don’t get that cold. But still had no trouble staying cool and getting good rest while here.

Summary: I felt at home in surrounded my rice fields and was treated like a member of the family.10/10 I will be back to Arsi
