Positive: Everything said in the previous reviews is true. The hosts are super lovely, the room is big and super clean, it has the biggest bathroom we have ever seen in SEA, with hot water! Don’t look further, this is the perfect stay! You can also arrange different tours with them! We did a ricefield tour and handicraft tour and made our own coconut oil. It was all amazing! And Ika’s cooking is the greatest, we ate there every evening during our 4 night stay ❤️. Thank you Egik, Ika, Saas and your whole family!

From the very first moment, we were welcomed like family, with warmth and kindness that touched us deeply. Ika’s cooking is outstanding: every meal was delicious and carefully prepared, and the breakfast, both generous and beautifully presented, was simply unforgettable. The prices for meals and activities are very reasonable considering the quality of the service and care provided. Thanks to Egik and Sas, we were able to discover the region in a truly unique way: visits, activities, and cultural discoveries, all perfectly organized. We even learned how to make coconut milk and oil, gained insights into rice farming, and immersed ourselves in the richness of the local culture. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, well maintained, and the hosts are extremely responsive to every need. You immediately feel at home here — so much so that you don’t want to leave. What we loved the most was the genuine cultural exchange with the family: talking together in the mornings and evenings, sharing stories, laughter, and traditions… an authentic and rare human connection. Positive: After a week in Kuta, arriving in Tetebatu and experiencing a bit of Sasak culture was fantastic. This place is all about connecting with people. We stayed at Eggy and his wife Ika’s homestay, where they rent out a separate two-floor building with two comfortable bedrooms (one on each floor), so they can host up to four guests. The rooms are private, but since Ika cooks and they love spending time with their guests, you often meet them in the open dining area—a lovely space where meals are shared and conversations flow. What really distinguishes Eggy and Ika—and I truly mean this—is that they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. And they do it in such a genuine and heartfelt way that it truly touches your heart. Their care, generosity, and kindness are moving—you can feel how much they want you to feel at home. Tetebatu, with all its greenery, is beautiful, but my best memories of this place will always be the laughter and experiences I shared with them. The guided tour with their cousin Arno is highly recommended—making coconut oil was fascinating, and the cooking class was a moment I especially enjoyed, mostly because of the connection shared with all the women while preparing the food. And don’t miss the pigeons! Twice a day, they release their flock, and watching the birds fly in formations across the sky will definitely change your perception of what a pigeon can be.

Positive: We had the best time in Tetebatu! From the moment we met Egik, Ika, and the others, it felt like coming home. The homestay was very comfortable and clean. Ika cooks like the best, and we loved the hike through the rice fields with Sas, we learned so much from him. We also really enjoyed the cooking class with Ika and the other women. We were treated to lots of delicious fruits and loved being part of this lovely family for a few days! Thank you all for making this stay remarkable!

Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful time with Egik and Ika at Stay Together Homestay! They were both incredibly welcoming, the place itself was spotless and full of charm, and Ika’cooking is simply delicious. The Tetebatu region is truly stunning, and the tours ( rice fields, market , Bamboo artcraft) organized by Egik so well thought and great ! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Positive: We stayed at Stay Together Homestay for three nights. The room was clean and neat, with a spacious bathroom. The homestay is located in a quiet place on the edge of town so the only noise was from the animals. The food was tasty, there was a lot of choice and it was big portions. The highlight of our visit were the hosts, Egik and Ika, and their staff. They were very friendly and worked hard to give us a great stay. Both hosts speak English well and were more than willing to help us plan our visit. We booked a few tours with them and Egik was a very good guide. He showed us beautiful places, gave us advice on things like proper dress, and was ready to answer all our questions. We also did the cooking class with Ika and her family, which was really fun (and delicious!).
