Positive: The cottage was beautiful in a lovely setting in the village. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Pub next door was lovely too.

Negative: Nothing at all. Just wished we had booked for a week instead of short break

Positive: Perfect location right next to a pub. Walks all around and beautiful scenery. Plenty of room in the little cosy cottage with the log burner giving it a home feel

Positive: The position in the village was east to find and the cottage had a homely feel. Method of key collection very simple and effective.

Negative: A courtesy bottle of milk would have been of more use and much more preferable to the wine! The milk sachets provided were long life and horrid. The dishwasher is incredibly noisy so should only be used just prior to leaving the cottage for the day. Size of cottage would be better suited to 2 people rather than 4! Space and kitchen facilities inadequate for 4 in my opinion.

Positive: Location is great, in the heart of a village with 2 excellent places to eat. Walking is just on your doorstep over the Howgill Fells. Easy to get to Northern Lakes should you wish to visit there. Easy travel into the Dales, Hawes and Sedbergh are only a few miles away but any travel should be taken slowly to enjoy the multitudinous views. And then there is the Settle and Carlisle railway.

Negative: Nothing spoilt it for us, especially in Covid times
