Positive: The Hayloft was very nicely finished, very clean, everything you could need provided. Very thoughtful hosts, even had milk and a lovely ginger cake. Would definitely stay again. Thanks.

Negative: Nothing I can think of. The location is a bit challenging with narrow roads but that's Cumbria, hosts warned us of any possible problems.

Summary: Lovely place to stay, in a lovely area, with very friendly people.

Positive: If you look for anything for romantic weekend my high recommend. Great place if you would like spend time without people around. Heyloft is in small village with wonderful places around. You can travel for lot of interesting places around. Heyloft has wonderful size. Not small, not big. Right for two people. For someone want enjoy romantic weekend. In Heyloft is everything what you need for very comofortable stay. Lovely place. Owners are very nice pople. Thanks Jo for nice present - wonderful cake. Shame is pub is not in the village. But we found The King's Head in Ravenstonedale. We love this pub. (btw we were lucky about the weather. I never have seen so many stars on sky like here. You must see it)

Positive: Before reaching the Hayloft and crossing through the village time seemed to rewind. 1660 the year most was built, including this property. Being brought back to modern times with clean smells and every comfort required. Super soft bedding, a lamp where there should be one bringing ease and relaxing in to the place instant. Fresh plums, homemade biscuits and milk in the fridge going miles beyond anything expected. Suggest to take a walk around the village and the views from the Church carpark.

Negative: There's a very narrow road leading towards the property.... However if you drive to the end or approach from the other direction an easier drive is available. Same for driving in the village and the beck/Ford for an easier route.
