Positive: All the food was excellent quality and well presented and delicious- with generous portions . The staff were super friendly and helpful including very good Thai massage . bungalow on beach was very well designed and made and perfect for us. Loved all the hammocks too

Positive: We had a great stay at Kamaku, we loved the location being at the corner of the beach meaning almost no people around us and having our bungalow so close to the seaside. Also, not only Julia, the owner, but all staff members were always super nice, kind & helpful and somehow create welcoming atmosphere that you're not feeling as a tourist but part of their community for a couple of days. We tried a lot of dishes as well and everything was great.

Negative: Nothing, we count that we booked a bungalow in the nature but someone can get surprised that a spider or gekon still can get easily into your room through the bamboo walls.Therefore, probably with a lot of fear would not enjoy so much as we did.

Positive: An absolutely incredible place and as close to heaven as one can achieve, I think! The bungalow was stunning and if I’d been able to stay longer; I’d have struggled to leave! The location is spectacular and all of the venues along the beach have a wonderful relationship with each other. This is just the most wonderful place to stay. The hosts and those working there were brilliant and so welcoming. I’d be back in a heartbeat.

Positive: Absolute paradise genuinely, so worth the walk the beach was so quiet, and Kamaku is so peaceful. Staff were really friendly and helpful, whole atmosphere was so relaxing. Most perfect bit of beach I’ve ever seen

Negative: Do not attempt this if you have a suitcase / are not fit. the walk is HARD. Beds / blankets smelt a tiny bit damp but other than that whole property was so clean and comfortable

Positive: As soon as we arrived at Kamaku Bungalows, we fell in love with the stunning Sunset Beach. Without even seeing the dormitory, we decided to extend our stay for an extra night, even though we initially planned to stay just one. The dormitory is very spacious, and each bed has its own mosquito net and a small fan. It’s nestled in nature, making the experience feel truly peaceful. Sleeping there while listening to the sound of the waves was absolutely magical. The temperature was comfortable because, being an open space, a gentle breeze kept the room cool. The bed was spacious and comfortable, making for a restful night. The restaurant on the property is wonderful, with slightly higher prices but excellent quality and delicious food. We had several meals there, both lunch and dinner, and couldn’t find any other places on the island that matched the quality. I highly recommend Kamaku Bungalows for its incredible location, peaceful atmosphere, and fantastic restaurant. It’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the island!

Negative: The only downside was that the bathrooms were a little dirty, but considering the overall environment and everything else, this was easy to overlook.
