Positive: Nice place to stay for a night. The room looked clean and was comfortable enough. The downside is that the top bunks don’t have curtains. Breakfast was pretty average, but the view while eating was absolutely beautiful. We were also lucky enough to spot an elephant on the other side of the river. They offer sandwiches to take on the boat for lunch — 40,000 kip for an egg sandwich.

Negative: The stay was a bit pricey though, at 244,000 kip per person.

Positive: Great place to spend a night while traveling by slow boat. Free pickup from the port, very comfortable room, amazing view from the balcony, you can see the elephants, big & tasty free breakfast. There's a restaurant in front of the hostel which serves good food in very affordable prices, they accept only cash.

Negative: There's only 1 toilet and bathroom for entire room for 8 people.

Positive: This is probably one of the best places to stay when you are taking the slow boat from Thailand border to luang prabang. Great location right by the boat drop off and pick up, it overlooks the Mekong river with incredible views, and the elephants come out to the river in the morning! Great breakfast, very nice comfortable, clean rooms and bathrooms.

Positive: Really nice clean and comfy room with great AC. They pick up from the boat which is nice. Great views from the hostel- you can see elephants. Nice stay! Good for a night or two stay.

Negative: Breakfast was only okay but the weirdest thing was there is cameras in the bedroom??! Strange!

Positive: - The dorm was clean and as pictured - The views over the river and seeing the elephants were great - The free breakfast was good, being bread, eggs and fruit - They picked us up from the boat pier of the slow boat - They provided towels and toothbrush/toothpaste and soap per person

Negative: Minor points but the shower and toilet were separate which is good but means no sink in the toilet room. Also the beds only had curtains on one side, but again very minor.
