Positive: Nice view of the canal and a little out of the hustle and bustle of central Venice. Staff were accomodating of our needs with bag storage. There are a few nice restaurants/bars nearby if you want a meal or a drink without going right into Venice central

Negative: It is a little bit of a hike with bags if you don’t catch a water taxi

Positive: Its location , quiet area about 25 mins walk from the centre. Staff professional and helpful.. Would recommend taking the line 2 boat the long way round into st Marks square , its about an hr , you get to travel down a great part of the grand canal

Positive: I was upgraded to an apartment nearby the actual hotel. I did not request the upgrade and I was blown away with the quality. Large apartment with living room, bathroom, full kitchen (fully equipped with stovetop, oven, cookware and dishes), large bedroom, and balcony with view of the canals. Included adjustable A/C in the living room and bedroom. The staff was very professional, pleasant, and spoke English very well, which was an unexpected treat. Only about 20 minutes' walk from the train station, about 45-60 minutes' walk from Piazza San Marco.

Negative: Bed was fairly firm, bathroom/shower was fairly small, location is somewhat far from main attractions of the city.

Summary: Excellent hotel with friendly staff and superb value

Negative: The walls are paper thin. We were in a ground floor room directly behind the reception and could hear staff talking from the room

Positive: The location of the hotel was in a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds, which was nice to experience. It was also a very close (15-minute) walk to the bus station, which was a bonus. The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view.
