Well served by all the navigation lines, in close proximity to important museums.
Comfortable and cozy apartment in Dorsoduro, near Accademia and Zattere. Very quiet neighborhood but at the same time downtown. Piazza San Marco is 15 minutes away, Piazzale Roma 10 minutes, train station 15 minutes walk.
All water bus lines, various shops, small restaurants, fish market, supermarkets, coffee, taverns, and ice cream at a few minutes walk.

Summary: Very clean and comfortable with good security. The location is excellent making it easy to walk or catch a ferry to all the main attractions. Paolo was a great host and very willing to help in any way possible.

Summary: A quiet central location, close to Campo San Barnaba. Good bathroom, excellent kitchen, lovely terrace with views across small gardens and terraces with lots of plant pots. First floor of a quiet building. Restaurants and cafes 2 minutes away. Vaporetto Ca' Rezzonico 5 minutes with no steps over bridges! Lovely owner, who couldn't be more helpful,

Summary: I liked the appartment a lot, it has a personal touch. Paolo is a wonderful host. The appartment is also situated good, calm location, but central and easy to reach the vaporetto at Canal Grande. Airconditioning was helpful at night, as it was very hot in July.

Summary: Paolo was so incredibly accommodating and kind. The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful and the terrace was a nice touch. The apartment is clean, quiet, and easy to get around to the local sites from. I would absolutely stay here again, and can’t recommend the place enough!

Summary: This apartment was clean, quiet, in a good location and the host was great - he even met us at the vaporette station and walked with us to the apartment. It had everything we needed and was exceptionally quiet while being an easy walk to anywhere, we wanted to visit. There were steps both to get to the apartment and in the apartment to get to the bathroom so be aware if mobility is an issue. Wej would defintely stay again!

Summary: The place was pristine clean, and located in a quiet part of town free from the hordes of tourists. However a short 5-10 minutes walk puts you in the center of it all. Kitchen, bath, heating - everything works perfectly. Paolo was a wonderful host, Venetian to the core and always close and ready for any queries. Would come back without any doubt.

Summary: Our host was so helpful, meeting us at vaporetto stop and guiding us to the apartment. This was vital in a city wher it’s difficult to get your bearings. We loved Dorsoduro which is great place to stay. Accommodation was exactly what we wanted, authentic Italian. Would recommend.

Summary: I spent 3 weeks in Paolo's 1 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for my needs. Up a short flight of stairs are three large rooms -- bedroom, kitchen and living room with large windows -- plus large bathroom with bathtub. The bed was terrific -- a concern for me for such a long stay. I cooked several times in the kitchen which was outfitted with stovetop, fridge, large toaster oven. Kitchen opens onto large terrace. Paolo is a lovely man and was very helpful with everything I needed to settle in. It's his neighborhood and he is happy to point out the best restaurants, where to shop, where to eat cicchetti, do your laundry etc. I followed all of his recommendations and was not disappointed. The apartment is near Accademia on the Grand Canal, and a few minutes off Campo San Barnaba in the Dorsoduro, a lively area with loads of restaurants (try Ristoteca Oniga in the square) bars and cafes, and a nearby barge selling fresh vegetables. (Also try Al Vecio Marangon, nearer Accademia.) The apartment is a few minutes from Campo Santa Margarita where there are more restaurants etc, a pharmacy, bakery and small grocery store, and the Zattere Canal where one can sit outdoor and eat pizza (among other things) while feeling practically at the beach. By the end of the first week, I was recognized by people in the neighborhood who waved hello. This is a wonderful place to experience the community aspect of a Venetian neighborhood which is far quieter than the traditional tourist destinations.
