Arcobaleno-Rainbow Venice apartment (Codice ID. Regionale M0270421594) is located at the first floor of an historic Venetian Renaissance little palace, with a nice view over a picturesque Venetian canal, in one of the most beautiful parts of the Dorsoduro district, Arcobaleno (Rainbow) is a fresh and charming Venetian apartment. It has been recently renovated and completely reappointed by the owners, who lived here for 10 years. Rooms are nicely and delicately painted with the colors of the rainbow.
The flat is facing a small canal which you can view from all the flat windows. Placed in a true Venetian neighborhood, not in the middle of the tourist area, you will be able to experience the local coffee shops, bars and restaurant of Campo Santa Margherita and several wonderful restaurants all within 100 meters. Minimarkets, freshly baked bread and pastries shops, daily fish and groceries, including the last-in-Venice picturesque grocer-on-a-boat, are all at a short and pleasant walk away.
Many attractions, including the Academia Gallery of Venetian painters and the Guggenheim Collection (former Peggy Guggenheim home in Venice) can be also reached by a short walk. Crossing the Accademia wooden bridge, the most photographed place in Venice (just 5 minute walk) according to Google Sightsmap, you can reach St. Mark's square with a 20 minute sightseeing walk. And if you do not feel like to walk, the flat is very close to the 'vaporetto/ferry' (Ca Rezzonico stop is just one little bridge away) with which you can easily move in the city.

Summary: We stayed in 4 properties across europe on our trip and this one was by far our favorite. The property is large with 2 bathrooms! We were met by the property manager later in the evening. He gave us amazing instructions on arrival and we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Dorsudoro was one of our favorite spots in Venice! Thank you so much for the amazing stay!

Summary: This was the VRBO on my trip to Italy that I was most excited about. If you are looking for a solid, well-equipped apartment with no frills and a fantastic location, this is your spot. This place will have you feeling right in the heart of everything, and you can literally see the Duomo from your window. 3 friends and I stayed here, and it was the perfect blend of home and vacation for us.

Summary: This was a a wonderful , beautiful property. Marco was a great host. I would recommend arriving in the daylight because it would be much less confusing. An interesting part of staying in a VRBO is really getting to stay like you live there. You learn so much more than staying in a hotel. I found that Venice is not a city for the handicapped because of all the steps over the canals. However, I still recommend going there and staying at Marco’s beautiful apartment if you are at all mobile. Thank you, Marco!

Summary: Very accurate description of unit. We would have liked a map of the grocery store nearby. Location very accessible to waterway. We would recommend this unit to a family with children as the second bedroom is designed more for kids and not adults as it is very small

Summary: We loved almost everything about this apartment. The smaller bedroom was indeed small, and although our friends didn’t complain, I had the sense that the beds weren’t too comfortable. Some USB ports would also be useful. But all in all, it is easy to recommend this place. Marco, who met us at Ca’ Rezzonica, was a great host.
