Summary: The rooms are spartan, the beds and pillows not very comfortable. Air conditioner works, but not in th bathroom.

Summary: The room was kept very clean daily. The daily breakfast food, eating área, and service was excellent. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Room temperature control was great.

Summary: The location is conveniently right at the Centre of all the Actions and Tourist Attractions. Hotel Schlicker is 2 minutes walk away to the Viktualienmarkt. The Heilig Geist Kirche is just right next door. Hotel Schlicker is also a 3 minute walk on foot away to Marienplatz. I can hear all the Churches' Bells rang in my hotel room. I can even hear the Famous Glockenspiel Chimed and Rang in my hotel room. The staff are impeccable, way above expectations and very friendly. I happened to bum into the Hotel Schlicker Chief Hotel Manager Himself. The Hotel Manager is very wise, very generous, and a very forgiven Manager. To be a Manager is like being a King or an Emperor. The hotel room is very clean and the Housekeeping is done daily. The Bath Soap and the Hand Soap topped up the next day. Even the Toilet Tissues filled up too. I only stayed 3 Nights in Hotel Schlicker. The Complimentary Included Morning Breakfast is so so ample and has so much variety of choices. There are not just bananas and apples. There are even Red Grapes, Green Grapes, Strawberries and Watermelons. I have never seen Watermelons in any other hotels' breakfasts. The particular and the Stand Out of the Crowds Breakfast Buffet Server in the Dining Room. It's too bad I did not ask for his NAME. He said he is from MOROCCO and immigrated to Germany. He is very very friendly and very outgoing. I guessed this Moroccan Tall Thin Gentleman Server has seen so many International Foreigner Travellers.

Summary: The hotel was lovely - very welcoming staff and the breakfast was exceptional and delicious, and the breakfast staff were always so cheerful and helpful. The area courtyard where the breakfast is served is just lovely! The room was bright, the beds were comfortable and the shower head was awesome. The location is very close to the marianplatz and the market stalls so perfect for all the action and sights with easy access to the U for getting around further out.

Summary: Location is very good and very easy to reach subway with airport. Hotel is in the center of alstadt region. Breakfast is enough and cleaning is good. Thanks.

Summary: Positives Clean room, good breakfast, good location. Negatives The room was very small, with the bed against the wall. This meant one person had no bedside table and had to climb over the other to get in and out of bed. The walls were very thin, making it easy to hear conversations from neighbouring rooms. The bed was positioned beneath overhead lights, making it uncomfortable to sit up and read. It was also disappointing that tea and coffee facilities were chargeable. This is the only hotel I’ve stayed in where I’ve had to pay for a tea bag. That said, the bed was comfortable and we slept reasonably well. Unfortunately, our experience was affected before we arrived. Although we had paid for our stay 10 months in advance, the hotel incorrectly believed we had not prepaid. We provided proof of payment, which was also confirmed by Hotels.com, yet we received no apology for the confusion or the rude messages sent beforehand. The issue was never acknowledged on arrival, leaving us feeling uncomfortable from the outset. During our stay, the hotel contacted us through Hotels.com asking whether we had slept well the first night of our stay. We replied that we could hear guests in the next room. At checkout, we were told a different room had been offered via a message to hotels.com, but no such message appeared in our Hotels.com account, so we never received it. Overall, the room layout, noise levels, communication and customer service detracted from the experience.
