Summary: Really nice historic hotel in downtown. Good value for the price. On a quiet street with not much to walk around and do. Carpet was dingy and stained. Housekeeping showed up once the 3 nights we were there to see if we needed anything. It wasn’t explained to us at check in that we wouldn’t get service unless asked for so wondered where they were all weekend. My daughter thought the front desk person was rude but I just thought he was ok and just disinterested. Overall, I would stay there again.

Summary: Rooms were very comfortable- however, our first night there we had a bug on the pillow. It looked like a bed bug. They asked for a copy of my picture and switched our room. The next day, they told me that it wasn’t a bed bug. The worst part was the way they handled it. They were very defensive about it - and practically acted like I had planted the bug on the bed! Here is the bug that was on our pillow and here is a picture of one of my bites (on my leg).
