Positive: The rooms are simple but clean. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. Amersfoort is a really beautiful historical town, definitely worth a visit for a more authentic Dutch experience. Commuting to Amsterdam and Utrecht is easy.

Negative: It's located right on the busiest historical square in Amersfoort, which sounds great at first, but if you're staying over the weekend, please note that there are many loud bars that are open until 3AM or so & the sound isolation is not the best.

Positive: The hotel is located in a main square which has a lot of options for food and drink. Nice market in the square on a Saturday too. The square is a 20 minute walk from the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a really nice breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the hotel is very clean and very quiet. Amersfoort is a really nice city too. Some great restaurants and bars in the city. Close to Utrecht and not far from Amsterdam either. Fairly central in the country
