Positive: The house needs work, it is located far, 15 20 min walk to main road, good 45 mins to the top to see view , place is safe. The thing that needs to be addressed and is not mentioned properly in the ad, is that this can and probably will be a house that is shared w another couple. House has 3 bathrooms, 3 rooms and a large kitchen/tv room . I got lucky that no one rented the other rooms, I would have left if I had to share a house .

Negative: House does need repairs . Not very clean .

Positive: My Girlfriend and I had a great time in Divisadero and Font's Hostal! Carlos and Ingrid were so welcoming and did everthing to make our stay comfortable. The Sunrise hike was fantastic and we can only recommend. Our expectations were exceeded and we would always book again!

Positive: Carlos is a great host and made the stay very comfortable! the house is a bit off but frankly that’s why you come to this place: the night sky, the silence and the numerous hikes you can do. Not far away from a few restaurants and shops if needed!

Negative: Has so far no Wi-Fi but the detox was very relaxing :)

Positive: We loved our stay in Hostal Font's! The house is so cosy with the fire on, it has a great communal area with kitchen and Carlos was a wonderful hoast who went above and beyond to make our stay great. Including coffee and delicious hot chocolate.

Negative: Nothing. This is a new Hostal so a work in progress but nothing that will negatively impact your stay.

Positive: The host was very helpful and tried to get all the information we needed. When we arrived the heater in the room was on and it was warm. The same applies for kitchen and living room where we used to spent our evenings.

Negative: We booked the dorms for women, but there was no mirror, so all the ladies were using the one in the bathroom. There is only one bathroom for all guests - full capacity is 12 people. There were only 4 more guests during our stay and we all struggled to manage in the morning since the shower and toilet is in one room. Moreover, it was not possible to lock the doors from the bathroom. If you like to use the box for your staff you need to bring your own locker. The host is offering trips, but they are very over-priced. Every evening there was someone from guests cooking and inviting all for dinner, however the host was the only one who has never contributed with food/meal.
