Negative: I think the place was way over priced for what you got out it. And the room we stayed in (overlooking rhe canyon) practically had the railing falling off on the balcony.

Positive: This is the place to see the copper canyon, no doubt. The view is stunning from all rooms and the deck. The building done in traditional lodge style with large timber ceilings.

Negative: The restaurant is overpriced and offers no options. You are obliged to eat there as there is nothing walking distance from here. They have 2 groups for reservations and move them like a cruise tour.

Summary: A must for the view and the timber structure.

Positive: Lovely view. The best cocktails in Mexico Lovely room with a 3rd bed for our son Collected from train.

Negative: Terrible receptionist. Said she would call a taxi and on both occasions didn't. We had to hitch back. No one gives any advice on how to walk to the cable car which in fact is very easy and starts just below the fire pit area. Little pink ribbons mark the way and it is 40-45 mins walk in a pleasant wood. You pass through a tiny hamlet with a rickety gate. Food expensive and no choice. We found a n ice little local restaurant down in the village which was better for lunch. The whole place is full of tour groups so not so great for independent travellers but the view and cocktails just about make up for it!

Positive: You can not beat the view, and well that is what you are paying for. Servers were super friendly.

Negative: Our room was a little worn, towels were thread bare. We stayed 2 nights, it rained the first night which woke us up because the roof was leaking and water was dripping on us. Fortunately there were 2 beds in the room. I let the front desk know in the morning, they were not the least bit surprised and offered zero compensation. Not even a bottle of wine of free dinner. At about $300/night I find that unacceptable . Also WiFi is an additional charge. An additional charge every 24 hours & for every device. Use your hotspot

Positive: The location is amazing and the views are incredible. It is a very special hotel and I would recommend everyone to spend a couple of days at the canyon. The cable car and zip lines are great fun and there's hiking and sightseeing all around.

Negative: The hotel constantly plays music through speakers in public areas and you can't escape it. You can hear it from your own balcony as well. Why is it necessary to play music on the terrace? I want to experience the peace and tranquility of the canyon but have a constant background nuisance.
