Negative: Stairwell to get to apt had a very foul smell. Odor was not an issue closer to apt, just in stairwell. (Building maintenance issue- not tenants)

Positive: Good location Clean, warm and comfortable Free parking

Negative: Building is essentially a council high rise. No noise after 11pm - there is a decibel sound device in the living room that sets off if you talk normally or watch TV - which prompted numerous messages from the host and it became a pain. So basically at 11pm you have to go to bed, just bare that in mind. Hot and cold taps for main bathroom shower are the wrong way around too.

Positive: First of all, I really appreciated the location of the apartment – it was incredibly convenient. The apartment itself was very clean and cosy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made it easy to prepare meals. One of the highlights was the beautiful view from one of the bedrooms, where we could see Arthur's Seat.

Summary: Our stay was wonderful, the apartment was comfortable, well-located, and exactly as described.

Positive: Brilliant location and surrounded by coffee shops and a close by convenience store Agnes was so prompt answering any questions. The visitors' book was fantastic.

Negative: Although the location is conveniently located a 9 minute walk from all major spots, there is no public transport. Which would have been useful for the kids. However, the visitors' book listed taxi numbers and the company we used city cabs were brilliant.
