Positive: Had a very cool vibe and an ‘all welcome’ attitude to guests!

Negative: Food was a little expensive but was still lovely! Was a really cheap bed for the night so it evened out.

Positive: The dorm room was in a characterful, older house surrounded by fields and cows and with a mountain view. The bed was very comfy. It is a short walk to some restaurants and bars, where I had a late lunch and dinner. This accommodation has an in-house restaurant - as do most places to stay in Valbone. Another guest, who ate at the accommodation, said the food was very good. I left early - before breakfast - so they packed my breakfast up for me. On the morning of the hike I got a lift to the end of the sealed road for 5€, at 7am. Note: my lift was in a standard Mercedes car that went to the end of the sealed road. The next part of the rocky road would have been a bit rough for a standard car. There were 2 (?) kilometres of stony road to walk before you get to the actual start of the walk. Not too difficult though.

Negative: Minor - I would have liked to see a menu with prices - just one printed on a piece of paper or blackboard. Minor - The bread roll in the packed lunched was rock hard and inedible (I think it may have been inadvertently over-microwaved). Both upstairs showers were cold when I used them so I had to shower in the downstairs ‘shower’ which was really a laundry room - with the shower head attached to the sink.

Positive: It was clean and beautiful, the staff were all friendly and helpful. It was peaceful with good views

Negative: It would’ve been a bit more comfortable if the hot water worked and maybe some heating or more blankets in the rooms 😌

Positive: Beautiful location and facilities were immaculate. Best shower I had! Accommodated us when we needed to hike early and bfast to go was prepared.

Negative: Didn’t tell us about the dinner menu prices. Extra €1 for paying by card.

Summary: Great place, extorting travelers with small charges.

Positive: Is right in the village of Valbonë. The rooms are good and food too. There is veeery good relation quality-price. I booked a bed in a shared dorm and ended up having the whole dorm for myself

Positive: Bathroom looks brand new and super clean. Hot shower, clean towel, bed is comfortable with a blanket. Beautiful garden. Wifi in the dining room is good.

Negative: The room light was broken. Wifi only can use in the dining room.
