Positive: We loved our stay here! The room as cozy, quiet, and comfortable (not to mention clean). We loved all the flowers outside and the view from our room as well as the view from the restaurant. The food was great. The host server we interacted with was kind and helpful.

Positive: We had a wonderful time in Valbone, especially at Selimaj, where our host Ileon took great care of us. Unfortunately, there had been a fire in their breakfast room, so we had breakfast next door — which wasn’t a problem at all. The only small suggestion would be to make the breakfast a bit more varied, as the same items were served each day. Our room had a lovely view, and the garden was full of beautiful flowers — such a peaceful and charming setting. It’s great to see places like this still exist. In my opinion, Valbone is even better than Theth, so if you can, go straight to Selimaj Hotel and enjoy your stay as much as we did. The only minor issue was that the bathroom window wouldn’t close properly, but since the weather was warm, it didn’t bother us. Thanks again for a great stay!

Positive: The location was perfect for Valbone. We stayed for one night before doing the hike to Theth and our bus from the ferry dropped us at the door. If you’re doing the hike it’s about a 5km walk to the start of the hike - some people get shuttles from other hotels that you can jump into. Breakfast was great and we also had lunch in the restaurant at the hotel. Stunning views from all around.

Positive: I honestly wouldn’t look any further for the perfect guesthouse in Valbone. Such insane value for how beautiful of a location, the rooms were so comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The included breakfast was quite good and so was the fish we had for dinner, although the coffee was particularly good. I definitely would recommend staying here during your time in Valbone, we would love to come back again sometime

Negative: They were also very helpful with a packed lunch for 500 Lek for our hike to Theth, although I probably wouldn’t get it again as it was just bread, apple, egg & some vegetables.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this family-run guest house. The family was so accommodating, the mountain view from our window was incredible. and the location was great. It was close walking distance to beautiful hiking trails, and the food was delicious. They dropped us off closer to the trailhead to the trailhead to Theth so that we could get plan early morning start to our beautiful hike.

Negative: Nothing- it was all great!
