Positive: The wife of the owner is called Aurira - she was lovely and an excellent cook. Beautiful flowers in her garden! The eating areas outside have wonderful views of the mountains.

Negative: We were charged 50 euros for a short 20 minutes drive up the road due to one of our party havng sustained an ankle injury. This seemed way over the top. The first price given to us was 100 euros! Also just to say that is very confusing when you arrive here - we booked to stay in a double room with two double beds in GuestHouse Niko but were put in a 4 single bed room in guesthouse Relax which is next door. The shower was cold in the Ladies bathroom which is outside and down the stairs. Bathrooms pretty basic.

Positive: Great family run guest house. Young son comes out to meet you on the trail to make sure you can find the property, mum and daughter warmly welcome you with beers while Niko chats to you! We found pricing to be very clear - including bed, dinner and breakfast. Dinner was delicious- especially the traditional soup! Our favourite soup!

Negative: Small light left on overnight shines into the room, but for going to the bathroom it needs to be on!

Positive: Lovely house with flower gardens and outdoor setting and staff who was a family were very helpful and were able to arrange accommodation in doberdol for us and provided us with lots of food😋😋

Positive: Very friendly and welcoming hosts, with delicious dinner and breakfast. One of the hosts met us on the road and directed us to the property, as there was lots of construction (which might make it tricky to find on your own). Comfy and clean single beds with shared bathroom, would recommend! Right next to the trail to Doberdol.
