Positive: Comfy bed with clean linen. Great location for my Hadrian's Wall walk.

Negative: Good food for dinner although my meal went to a dinner that arrived after me. When I politely queried it the staff member got on the defensive saying 'I can't speed up the kitchen'. He later apologised for the mix up and took off 10%. Mould in shower.

Negative: The room was too hot to sleep comfortably even with a fan as only one window opened at the bottom slightly.

Positive: Location superb, staff friendly and helpful, meals were really good. Stayed here many times and always enjoyed the experience.

Negative: No complaints. Only downer was that the leisure centre is being refurbished and could be several months before it reopens.

Positive: We needed a room in a hurry due an unforeseen event and the night porter was fantastic letting us in at such a late hour. Staff were amazing and accommodating to all of our needs and very kind.

Positive: Great location for hikers walking Hadrian's Wall. Very comfortable room, excellent food and drink.

Negative: A member of staff constantly called me "Bud". Aaargh!
