Summary: Charming cottage, in a quiet location close to the Roman sites we wanted to visit along Hadrian's Wall. Stylish with comfortable beds and sofas and all we needed for self-catering - even solar garden lights for evening drink in sun. Lovely to be greeted with prosecco, beer and chocolates (thank you!) The position by railroad tracks that you have to call HQ to cross was a bit of a surprise, but we got the hang of it - a mini adventure every day we set out. More remote control and high tech inside than we were used to, but we got the hang of that too. Really lovely space, decor and atmosphere. We had a really good, much-needed family break together! Especially good to find a nice place where you can bring the dog! Thank you.
