Positive: Great location, beautiful cottage with a lovely garden. Angela, the host, had thoughtfully left us a delicious cake, some milk, tea and coffee, which was much appreciated after a long journey. The cottage was very comfortable, beautifully presented and very clean.The shower was excellent. The location was fabulous, in a super village, close to the amenities of Hexham and near to Hadrian's Wall.

Negative: Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

Summary: Atte Combe Cottage was everything we had hoped for - and more.

Positive: Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden surrounding it. All facilities needed inside, very clean, very comfortable and cosy. And, hostess Angela is very welcoming and helpful. Lots of guidebooks for local visits available, and short drive to downtown Hexham. Local eateries and pubs nearby, too. Family very much enjoyed their stay (and Angela’s lemon drizzle loaf!) ! 😊

Positive: A lovely cottage, and very well equipped. The town is quiet, and yet close to Hexham. The host made us feel very welcome. We spent Christmas here, and the cottage was pretty decorated. I am very picky about cleanliness, but the cottage was spotless. A great place to stay if you want to see Northumberland or the Lake District. You can have lovely walks straight from the cottage. If i return to Northumberland, i will definitely stay here again. A home from home!
