Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This is a great location between Fish Lake and Capitol Reef. The 2k altitude change makes it a bit cooler than Capitol Reef and a huge relief after a long hike or drive on the back roads (Bentonite Hills). We were able to relax outside and barbecue even though it’s summer. Plus the neighbor’s llama has a baby right now! The owner and property manager are very responsive and caring.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: We enjoyed being able to relax in a quiet and well equipped place after some long hikes and drives!

Negative: I/We have stayed here now for 4 years in a row and the only thing we can think of is they could upgrade to a portable dishwasher that could be placed where the coffee stand is now, I say this because we usually have 10 people and that's a lot of dirty dishes. Just a thought.
