Positive: This is an unusual property with all the shared spaces but it works. We were there in May and the property was pretty full yet we always had the kitchen to ourselves. We had 3 king beds in our unit which was great and worked well for our friend vacation. We did not use the shared spaces but there is a sauna, ping pong table and other games and a movie room along with some relaxing spots in the shared spaces. There is no one on-site but the communication by email/text was great. There is a great chef in the hotel across the street(next to the dollar store) and we ate there for both dinner (pizza) and breakfast. There is a laundry down the street by Mariana’s diner . In the concrete building next to the diner. Door will be unlocked- not well marked.
Negative: I wish there was a laundry on-site- that would be great! Also one shared full-size coffee pot in the kitchen area. It was never a problem making a pot for our group but that was a top priority for us!

Positive: Need a ventilation system in the toilet and room. Toilet could be little big compared to room as door can't lock smoothly while getting inside.
Negative: No ventilation or fan in the toilet to remove the odor.

Negative: The water in shower was mislabel or plumber backwards. After I figured this out I didn’t have hot water to take a bath.i called property management and they just told me to wait for the water heater to heat up again. Stairs bad with a heavy suitcase.

Positive: The room was very nice and comfortable, and I appreciated having access to a large shared kitchen and dining area. It's a unique place to stay. Also, it's very quiet. No one should expect Loa to be a party haven. Self check in is convenient, yet I can't rate staff since we didn't interact with any -- except a very helpful cleaner, and the manager who stayed in contact via text messages, which was convenient.
Negative: My only slight negative is expecting continental breakfast since that was listed in Booking.com. Coffee was provided, though.
