Positive: The location of the accommodation was convenient for me as there are a few bus lines connecting it to the Edinburgh city centre. Also, you can reach Portobello on foot in just ten minutes. The accommodation was very cozy. The host was super nice and made me feel at home. Thank you, Aisha, for making my stay in Edinburgh so comfortable! I would definitely return if I were to revisit Edinburgh.

Positive: Aisha was a great host, she replies quickly, we felt very welcome there. Equipment of the apartment was great. We did not miss anything. The apartment felt and was very cosy. A modern TV with WiFi connection was available. Bus connection was to city centre was great, the buses depart 1-3 min from the accommodation. We recommend staying here:)

Negative: A few downsides to point out: the most problematic thing for us two was the bed, which was very soft and felt old. This can easily be improved by buying a new mattress. The bed could be a bit larger but we did not struggle or anything. There was one large duvet but two would be preferable. We had difficulty cleaning dishes as there was basically no hot water. The built-in heaters seemed to work quite randomly. But, there was a small portable heater which made us warm.

Positive: Was absolutely delightful especially after my last experience in a hotel in Edinburgh. Clean, comfortable and host couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.

Positive: Aisha deserves 5 stars (or even more!!). 1st review of many here we hope, she’s an absolute local star! The house is huge, superclean, superconfy and she did everything she could to improve our staying in Edinburgh. Our trip was even better thanks to her! And Lily (her cat) is the nicest cat ever! Sweet hearted animal that was welcoming us every time we were back from sightseeing! The house is very well communicated by bus to the city center in a quite area. It was very easy for us to move around and still enjoy a good quiet night. If you are lucky to stay at Aisha’s, make sure you ask for her recommendations, they are top notch! She’s a true star! 100% recommended!
