Positive: Absolute beautiful view! The room was clean and comfortable, including a fridge, electric tea kettle and fan. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. The host is welcoming and helped me arrange laundry and a Tuk to Flying Ravana. There’s stairs to get down to the room so be mindful of carrying luggage but the view is worth the steps!
Summary: Beautiful view, comfortable and clean stay

Positive: The view is really incredible and we loved watching the birds, squirrels and monkeys from the terrace. The location is great; peaceful and surrounded by nature, while still being within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The local breakfast was lovely and served on the terrace at a time we chose. Also, we were upgraded to a better room free of charge since we were the only guests and the room was very spacious and comfortable.
Summary: Incredible views, peaceful nature and great hospitality

Positive: Amazing view and amazing breakfast, and extremely kind host. it's a secluded place and quiet at night, but easy to each on foot (some 5-10 minutes on feet off the main road, or get a tuk tuk to get you there). It's a side road and not well illuminated, we felt very safe walking there from the center of Ella on our own even at midnight. The host went out of his way to accomodate us and help us out during our stay - thank you!

Positive: The views are stunning. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. At just 5 minutes walking distance from one of Ella's bustling street full of restaurants and shops. You will feel in the middle of nature. Furthermore, Danuka is so nice... He drove me everywhere... Even to the province hospital, 50min away from Ella. This place is one of my highlights. It is easy to understand why it has so good reviews.
Negative: Everything was perfect. You can feel a bit scared the first time arriving there at night, since you need to walk through a street with just a little light, but do not worry, that's something normal here in Ella out of the main street. Actually, you will hear some tourists walking around to the many hotels which are in the surroundings, so nothing to be scared of. There's a bit of noise at night when the monkeys move from one place to the others and walk through the roof of the cabana. There's nothing to be scared of, just monkeys!

Positive: Wow the simplisity or just being able to sit in a quite space with an amazing panaramic view. We sat in our chairs at the cliff edge watching an amazing sunrise eating a supurb breakfast away from the busel of the Ella main streets.
Negative: More time to stay than just one day
Summary: If you want a unspoiled landscape painting of the mountains this is the place to stay
