Summary: If there is one thing to tell about this appartment, I would say "you won't regret your choice". Its access is very convenient if you arrive by plane at San Marco airport as you can come directly from the airport by boat and walk 10min to reach the the place. Annamaria and Fabio will great you with particular attention (not to mention here as it should act as a surprise to you...) accessible if you need anything but also discreet to respect your privacy. You won't be disappointed with the appartment, it has all the equipement you could think of and is lovely decorated, In brief within few minutes you will feel like at home. If you are worried about food shopping, be reassured, there are all the nessary shops in the nearby streets at more than reasonable prices, So now that all the basics needs are fulfilled (I mean a place to sleep, eat and rest) you can let the venitian exprience starts, get you lost in the streets surrounded by canals, visit the numerous churches and museums, taste the local drinks and food specialities and admire the artscraft. Summary: Annamaria and Fabio offer a perfect, modern apartment set in a medieval quarter of Venice - Castello - off the tourist track, but quiet central. There are local shops and a small supermarket nearby so you can 'shop' and 'eat-in' which makes your Venetian stay more economical, if you choose. One should be fit enough to climb two sets of stairs as there is no lift. You are welcomed with snacks and prosecco; The hosts are very friendly and speak English and French as well as some other languages. They are Venetians and can recommend many activities and sites - restaurants, churches and exhibitions to visit. They can also recommend which vaporettos to catch. We can highly recommend a stay here; we will return in 2014 and we look forward to meeting our hosts once more. If you choose Casa Bombardieri, then we're convinced you'll enjoy your stay!

Summary: The quiet and cosy apartment has very nice views over the roofs of Venice and a superb position for visiting all the sights and also for buying your breakfast croissant, fruit veg from a local stand; there is also nearby a good food shop. Its position not in a busy tourist area, but in a residential quarter, gives it an additional asset. The apartment also contains a lot of extremely helpful information about Venice, and in particular the very interesting campi and fondamente.
