Ca’ Navagero, was the historical domicile of the aristocratic Navagero family. From the end of the 1300’s this family provided Venice with many important politicians, ambassadors, writers and historians, one of them being Andrea Navagero. He was very important in the cultural history of Renaissance Venice. The palazzo has origins dating as far back as 1400 and is represented in a famous painting of Jacopo De Barbari from 1500.
Between the 17th and 18th centuries the palazzo underwent transformations but continues to withhold its original aristocratic charm. Still today, the palace is home to artistic and architectural master works. The façade with its arches built in the 1400’s, the balcony, the entrance hall, the wooden ceilings and the inner court with its fountain decorated with the Navagero family crest are a few examples.
The restored and renovated Palazzo welcomes its guests exuding fascination, charm, elegance, and a great feeling of history. Situated on the Riva degli Schiavoni across from the Island of San Giorgio the Palazzo offers our guests an impressive view of the Laguna, the Doges’ Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the Grand Canal (Canal Grande) the Church of St Mary of Salvation (Santa Maria della Salute), the canal of the Giudecca and the Church of the Palladio dating from the 500’s. The view also includes the Islands of S. Servolo, Armeni, and the Lido of Venice that meets with the gardens of Castello where the international exposition of the Biennale and S. Elena are located.

Servolo and the Armenians, the Lido and closing on the green lung of the city, the gardens of the Castle of the international headquarters of the Biennale and S. Helen.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in your city, accomodations, exceptional. Alberta met us at door. She gave us some good information about getting around the city. We stayed 3 nights after being in Normandy and Taliuse France and the Amolfi coast in Sorrento and in Floence . We all agreed this was one of the nicest. Would definitely stay there again if return.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Clean and spacious. Walk out the door to the building and you are right in the heart of things. It can be very busy because the fairies drop off and pick people up all along this promenade But we loved it. Walk out the door and make a left and you find yourself in a less crowded space. Walk out the door and make a right and you are moments from Saint Mark Square. The apartment is along a canal with the hotel Metropol Right across the canal . We enjoyed watching all of the boat traffic on the canal from the window of the apartment .We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: We had a lovely 3 night stay in Venice. Communication with Alberta was easy and she was always prompt in her response. She provided clear instructions and was wonderful to work with. The apartment was clean, extremely spacious and within close walking distance to all of the main attractions, with several restaurants and cafe's nearby. It was in a safe location and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: Simply amazing apartment and Alberta was very responsive. Check-in and check-out were smooth and Alberta met us in person both times to make sure that everything is good. Fully enjoyed our stay so would highly recommend.

Summary: 10 Stars! Highly recommend! This apartment was exceptionally perfect in every way. Alberta was a superb host. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us around entire apartment. She included a list of restaurants that are highly recommended. She was easy to communicate with and very rapidly responsive. This accommodation is in a perfect location. It is VERY clean and quiet. I would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: Highly recommend this property. Everything about it was top notch. Location was perfect with easy access to water taxis, major attractions and wonderful restaurants. Alberta was wonderful in meeting us at property, explaining everything about it, giving us information on restaurants close by, and holding our hands on water taxi schedules.

Summary: This was the perfect place for our party of eight—my husband and myself, and our two grown daughters and their families. I’ll start with the fact that the apartment is gorgeous and clean, with soaring ceilings and two-story windows overlooking the canal! Our flight was late, and we didn’t arrive until midnight, but Alberta graciously met us to give us keys and a quick rundown of how things worked. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed (espresso maker and pods, tea kettle, dishwasher, towels, hair dryers, and a washing machine. Keep in mind there’s no dryer, but we hung our clothes to air dry without a problem. It has three bathrooms and two showers. The third bathroom has a tub with a handheld shower but no enclosure, which is great for kids (or creative grownups). The location is within walking distance of all the major attractions, and for everything else, we took water taxis. I will definitely stay at Alberta’s apartment again!
