Summary: The room was good although the controller to the tv didn’t work. The property is on an inlet off the lake, not directly overlooking the lake as the description alludes to. It states that a hot continental breakfast is included however do not plan on having breakfast here. We walked in to a couple of slices of bread and some dried up eggs and that was it. No waffle batter, cereal, muffins etc. Asked at reception if more was coming out and the answer was a simple no. There is a delicious cafe over the road though which we would highly recommend for breakfast.

Summary: Nice place for fisherman. It has outlets all around the outside to charge your boat batteries and it had a great fish cleaning room. Friendly staff. Only issue is I found a roach in the room

Summary: My 2nd time at this property, this time in the main building. Although it was carpeting, it still was clean, no noticeable mold or mildew. A couple bulbs out and the smoke detector may not have been working, but the rest of the room was clean and comfortable.

Summary: Grounds were nice. Location on the canal. Pool area was nice with shaded gazebos. Bar was closed due to renovations. Wonderful multi level observation tower with seating to see the beautiful view of Lake Okeechobee. Hotel is older and needs some tlc. Everyone working there was friendly. Room was comfortable. This is not a shiny new hotel and it does have flaws. But the price was good. Breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, sausage, bread’s yogurt, cereal, waffles.

Summary: A lovely property near the lake. The shower valve was stuck on shower vs tub and there were a couple missing bulbs, but otherwise the plumbing, electric and AC were fine. The room was not just "Florida clean" but actually quite clean and nice. Hard flooding meant no mildew. The lookout area five floors up was a nice surprise, with steady breeze and views of the lake over the levee. All around, an excellent value for the midweek price.
