Our home is just outside Victoria, conveniently located between Victoria and Sidney, and close to the Victoria International Airport, BC Ferries at Swartz Bay and Washington State Ferries to Anacortes, Washington. We are on a peninsula which is semi-rural, in the midst of farmland, small villages, beaches and mountains. We are surrounded by lush flower gardens and hummingbirds almost year round. Fresh fruit and produce are plentiful from many gardens. The entire home is included, which has one king bedroom, and three queen bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 kitchens, cooking supplies to meet your cooking needs plus coffee pot and coffee, a large living/TV room with cable TV and WIFI both upstairs and down. A barbecue grill is available as well. There is a large deck outside to enjoy the evenings.
New tennis courts with lights for evening play are two doors down, plus playground and forest hiking trails are just down the street. Bus stops are just across the street which connect us to all Victoria and area destinations in minutes, so a car is not a true necessity. If driving, Butchart Gardens is 5 minutes away, the airport and Sidney (with Washington State Ferries to Anacortes Washington) 10 minutes, BC Ferries at Swartz Bay 15 minutes and Victoria 20 minutes to downtown. Mountain trails and beaches on both sides of the peninsula are 5 to 10 minutes. Bike paths are accessible which connect us easily to both Sidney and Victoria.
The best kayaking is available just 5 minutes away in Brentwood Bay on Saanich Inlet and Todd Inlet, where you'll likely find starfish just under the surface, also a destination scuba spot nearby.
Panorama Recreation Center is 5 minutes away for everything from hockey, gym and racquet sports to pools and waterslides.
