Positive: Are we in paradise or Eden? We can imagine looking on to the waters a world without humankind other than an occasional fishing boat passing by. We turn our backs and look towards the resort designed in a U shape with an excellent integration of traditional crafted architecture.

Positive: Calm and tranquil environment with beautifully tended gardens set around a large well maintained pool with uninterrupted views over the lake . Rooms traditional and have stood the rest of time well. Very attentive staff, though some younger members of the dining team perhaps less prepared and trained for international guests so communication in English was patchy but the manager resolved any minor issues very effectively. Food choice fairly limited but very good value .We enjoyed a massage in the treatment rooms by a visiting practioner. There is an air conditioned games room which offered some welcome respite from the heat.

Negative: Expected a resort of this size and calibre to be licenced . There is not a lot of choice of other restaurants or places to visit in the vicinity

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and would return again if we returned to this region
