Positive: The staff were fantastic and provided different local breakfasts every morning! There were also lots of recommendations and a group chat to connect everybody which was really nice. Great location in Georgetown too.

Positive: I've been travelling around Asia for the past 15 years, and I can honestly say this is my favourite guest house! Amazing hosts, Howie and Arthur feel like friends straight away. I came for a night and stayed more than a week, I have to leave today and I really feel like I'm leaving home! Amazing breakfast, a big pot of homecooked food for everybody to help themselves to, and a delicious array of local snacks. Biscuits, juice, toast, cup noodles, tea and coffee available all day. Small rooms with shared bathrooms but really comfy beds and 4 soft pillows. The care for the guests from Howie and Arthur feels so authentic, I've never experienced anything like the hospitality here. And then there's the cats....

Negative: There is literally nothing I didn't like about this lovely little place, but if you need to be close to a bathroom try to get a downstairs room as there's no bathroom upstairs.

Summary: Best homestay/guesthouse in all of Asia, and possibly the world.
