Positive: The room is big, right on the canal, and looks very authentic. There are 2 windows both looking out into the canal. We were greeted by a lovely lady who let us in, she had to come from the sister hotel. The breakfast was served in a small dining room. The location is excellent, right near everything.

Positive: We stayed in a beautiful room with a four poster bed. It was large enough for our family of four as it had two separate beds, one either side. The hotel itself is small but really friendly and well located. The decor was really traditional Venetian which we loved. It had everything we needed for our short stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, they arrived at short notice when we turned up earlier than expected and they also helped show us the way to the Vaporetto stop when we were leaving.

Negative: Nothing, it was a lovely stay.

Positive: Great location, near a lovely little square with cafes. Nice to have breakfast included.

Negative: The room was clean and tidy but the communal carpets and the fabric walls all needed a hoover, you could see the dust. This set off my allergies and I had to take antihistamines during the stay. Also our air con was broken and the room was very warm, we couldn't open the windows as then we got mosquitoes in the room.

Positive: Great customer service. Great breakfast. Wonderful canal view.

Negative: I had never used the key card to turn on the lights. There were no instructions. There was no staff person at the location. Did not have cell service or wifi. So had to use the desk phone to call someone to help. It would have been helpful to have instructions for turning on the lights for dumb Americans like me. And instructions in the hallways since it was pitch black in the room.
