Summary: If you like the idea of staying in a thoughtfully reimagined old Inn Casa Pinto should be on your list. All of the rooms are individually decorated and fitted with stone walls in the bathrooms and showers. There's a nice breakfast room inside and a small garden breakfast area for summer. It was nice to have close access to the restaurants and shops right outside the door.

Summary: From checkin to departure this family owned hotel was a pleasure to stay at. It has an amazing view of the Duoro valley and beautiful accommodations. They have a heated pool and asmall restaurant with amazing home cooked food! But best of all was the hospitality, Sergio is terrific. We highly recommend it!!!

Summary: The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Bed was very firm but comfortable and the sheets, duvet, etc. of good quality.

Summary: The hotel is very well located. You can walk to visit all the tourist attractions in the beautiful and well-preserved medieval town of Monsaraz. I booked the cheapest room available and although it was nicely decorated, I didn't like it because it was tiny and had no window, just a small skylight in the ceiling. The breakfast was simple but tasty.

Summary: The check in was easy with parking nearby. We later found that you can drive in to the property to drop bags off and some people were parking there. Our room was fairly small but OK. The real problem was that therre was no opening windows and the air con was really only a weak fan which had no effect on the room temperature which was uncomfortable. We found out that we were not the only guests with this problem. There were no staff around to discuss the issue. I tried calling with no response. I found the bed hard and uncomfortable but that may be a personal thing. Breakfast was fairly standard but OK. There is a small roof terrace with old basic folding chairs in need of replacement.

Summary: Room was wonderful, with traditional furnishings, like fairy tale. Unfortunately the whower didn’t work properly and some things like glass were missing. Staff unresponsive.

Summary: If you are driving it’s a bit nerve wracking both so worth it ! What a beautiful inn nestled in one of the nicest medieval towns in Portugal ! Pinch me views from rooms and terrace !
