Positive: This place is truly a refuge. It is situated immediately outside the walls of the Monsaraz village. A great advantage is that it has parking, even though it is slightly challenging to park in between the narrow stone walls. But it is doable. There is a wonderful view of the valley below. And if the weather is nice, there is a patio upstairs to enjoy the breezes, the sunshine and the views. The entire rental is very well appointed both aesthetically and for convenience. We prepared a couple of meals in the little kitchen. The bathroom is spacious and the bed upstairs extremely comfortable.

Negative: I’m sure it is noted in the description, but people should know that the bathroom is on the main floor while the bedroom is upstairs and requires a walk down some easy stairs to reach it. Again, all was extremely clean and steady and safe.

Summary: I would highly recommend this sweet and unique place to stay to anyone that was going to be visiting Central Portugal. T

Negative: Parking was a little tricky due to other drivers parking in an essential turning spot, not the fault of this accommodation.
