Positive: A Janela Do Castelo is just right outside the castle. It was really peaceful and quiet there. The views of the castle and the surrounding countryside were amazing. The house itself is really secure and quiet. It was nice to go down to the garden and sit in the bubbling jets of the hot tub. Also, A Janela Do Castelo is quite close to the parking area outside the castle walls, so getting to and from the house was simple and easy.

Negative: I'm trying really hard to think of something negative about the place, but I just can't think of anything. In my opinion it's the perfect place to stay in Monsaraz.

Positive: Gorgeous house, retaining loads of old features, very clean and very well equipped with everything you could need. Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Perfect location with a stunning view of the castle from the house and patio. You can park right at the front door from 6pm until 11am. The owner was very nice and extremely responsive and helpful.

Negative: Nothing. This place is perfect for a holiday.

Positive: The two bedroom and two full baths apartment right within the castle was spacious and well equipped. It has also a really nice back patio with the castle and scenic view. The only minor issue we had was the hot water didn’t last long enough for back to back showers by two people.
