Positive: It was an amazing experience of staying inside of the castle walls :) Very good location, good internet, clean property with a lot of facilities. Good contact.

Negative: All good. It was a bit humid, but there’s AC and it was better than we expected from a place surrounded by stone walls.

Positive: The property is inside the town of Monsaraz and easily accessible from the various car parkings outside the city walls. It has everything you need and the host even made sure that the air conditioning was running upon arrival and we had a very pleasant inside temperature despite it was the hottest time of the year. And on both days the host made a bottle of water available to us.

Negative: There was a party going on on both nights in the castle of Monsaraz. Because the house is close to public toilets and the ATM. Plenty of young party goers would on both nights walk in front of the house, shout, sing, leave goblets every where, urinate against the walls and even knocking on windows and doors making it difficult to sleep or to rest....

Summary: It was OK. The noise at night created by the party goers did disturb the sleep and night rest.
