Summary: Capt. Thomson's Resort was a great place for us. We had a lovely view over the river to Boldt Castle. The place was nicely updated, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it.

Summary: The Captain Thomson Resort is the best place to stay in Alexandria Bay, Great walkable location convenient to the boat tours, restaurants, gift shops, and parks, with incredible views from our balcony overlooking the marina, St Lawrence River and Heart Island and Boldt Castle. We loved our visit to the Thousand Islands area.

Summary: We had a great time revisiting the Alexandria Bay area. I highly recommend staying at Capt Thompson resort. The pool area is a nice place to hang out and visit with each other. We had a great meal at Bonnie Castle too. The resort is centrally located so within walking distance to the shops and boat tours. Enjoy!

Summary: Nicely laid out, our room had a great view of the Boldt Castle. My wife and I (both senior citizens) were very appreciative of the staff, who went above and beyond, to assist us with our luggage. The only downside was that every morning our balcony was covered with dead insects, and the only one who controls that is mother nature. Very enjoyable stay.

Summary: Great stay! Very clean, awesome location right in the middle of everything! We were able to walk everywhere. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Summary: Great location with great view of the Boldt Castle. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the town with lots of dining choices. Ship tour is right next door. Too bad there is no elevator for the 2nd floor. Highly recommended.
