Positive: The cabin is right in town yet nature all around you. They fed agoutis right at our front door. Saw green parrots, mot mots and lots of birds right outside our door. However, we could walk right down 2 blocks to the grocery store.

Negative: I liked everything.

Positive: The host was really friendly and gave us good recommendations for our stay. His mother made us delicious breakfast, you can choose either eggs and toast or pancakes. Easy communication through WhatsApp before our arrival and during our stay. Cute dogs and goats. The room was spacious and had a small fridge, and the bathroom had warm water. Strong wifi. Closed gate so felt really safe. Location in walking distance from the city centre.

Positive: The location is very good, right in the center of everything. Nice kitchen with a variety of utensils if you want to cook a meal and everything was super well cleaned. It’s just good value for money and Rene was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed

Negative: We stayed at the annex house with shared bathroom. It was good value for money, we were alone but shared bathroom felt small and no sink, just outside in the kitchen

Positive: Basic but everything we needed. The bathroom is really big, the room was comfortable for 2 of us. The breakfast is amazing, we got the choice of eggs on toast or pancakes with 3 choices of drinks. You have to choose your order the day before. Wifi is fast and stable, the room was clean, the supermarket and restaurants are 5 min walk from the accomodation. The parking is right outside the cabins. The shower had warm/hot water, which was nice after cold day.

Positive: -Walking distance from the city centre -15 minutes away by car from the Monteverde Reserve -Delicious huge pancakes, fresh fruit, coffee and juice for breakfast - There was some sort of hot water in the shower - Big room and cheap

Negative: -No heating. With the typical strong winds and drizzle, one would love to come back to a warm room. Instead, everything was cold, humid and moldy. They had no extra heater, not even a hairdryer to warm up a bit or dry wet clothes. -Poorly insulated, the wind could go through the door. The door was semi-transparent. -Bed bugs/spiders! - The shower had (boiling) hot water.. not terrible, not amazing either (pretty low water pressure)
