Positive: Location good with excellent views. Loved the decor, unusual and arty. Gave me some ideas for my own house.

Negative: A little bit more worktop space in the kitchen area.

Positive: A fantastic accommodation option in a glorious setting over looking the coast. Small but well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Jim and Julia were very welcoming hosts and stayed in contact during and after the stay, even posting back things I left. Thank you both, if I am lucky enough to head back to Shetland I hope the pod is available

Negative: Nothing about the pod but directions from the airport could have been clearer eg how far before the turning, the turning is on the right heading into Lerwick etc. Once I found the turn off the main road, the information was great.

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay! Lovely views from the terrace, cosy mini house style with a small kitchenette, cosy bedroom and great bathroom and lounge area. Due to the small space there isn't a lot of storage space, but if you don't come with too much luggage that shouldn't bother you.

Positive: The Podika is a charming, cozy space very well located a couple of minutes drive from Lerwick, with a great view over the sea and a terrace to take it in from. The facilities have everything you need for self-catering, the bed is comfortable and the location is quiet. The hosts could not have been more helpful and obliging. It was very reasonably priced for the quality of accommodation. We travel a lot and this was one of the best places we have stayed in.

Negative: The only suggestion I would make is more detailed directions. We had to call when we knew we were near but still couldn't find the house. I would suggest saying to turn onto Shurton Brae at the signed exit on the main road, turn right and then continue through the cattle grid, then you see the house with the boat design on the fence. It is very distinctive but you don't see it until you are right on it. The cattle grid is the most helpful marker if you are driving
