Summary: We were absolutely delighted with the cleanliness and modern decor of the apartment, and it’s location in central Lerwick was perfect. We could park for free on the street outside the apartment and the shops and restaurants were a five-minute walk. The apartment had all the facilities we needed, including a washer-dryer so we could wash clothes during the week. The only challenge we had was due to our levels of fitness - there are a few flights of stairs (and 35 steps) up to the St. Ninian’s apartment. However this was very much our problem, and it won’t be an issue for younger or more fit people. On the plus side, since the apartment is built into the roof, we had big windows in every room overlooking the town, and the air and light was wonderful. We would definitely visit again.

Summary: This is the second time I have stayed in St Ninian’s, and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Shetland. It is absolutely first class! Perfect for the town, so quiet, cosy, every amenity you could think of, and Andrea and Dawn could not do enough for you! Love it! I have already booked up for Easter, and am bringing two other friends with me.

Summary: The lack of dormer off the back of the flat made it a bit claustrophobic. (sloped roof) but if you are solo, it won't be a bother. That out of the way the apartment was clean, and extremely well stocked. Location was excellent, with easy on street parking. The key code system was flawless and we enjoyed the stay. the little tubs with dishwashing tablets and pods for the washer/dryer were a fantastic touch. A+

Summary: This apartment was perfect! Spotlessly clean, great size for two people with excellent amenities. Comfortable and homely. Location is brilliant! Pubs, takeaways, restaurants and town centre all within a 10 min walk. Owner is lovely and couldn't be more helpful. Will be returning and definitely recommend.

Summary: St Ninians was in a very good location for us to visit the sites we wanted to see in the Shetlands. The apartment was modern, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was small but suited our requirements and the owner could not have made us more welcome.
