This bright, updated 1920's bungalow is right in the heart of Santa Barbara. Situated a block and a half off State Street just minutes away from some of the best tourist attractions, restaurants, bars, breweries, music venue and museums that Santa Barbara has to offer. And just a short 10-minute drive to the closest beach. We integrated a seamless check-in/check-out process and minimal interaction for your privacy and convenience.
The space:
Casa Figueroa features a designer's touch, abundant light, and is tastefully furnished - offering all the elements of classic coastal living, inside and out. Relax and enjoy the comfortable front porch or the inviting courtyard with outdoor dining. This home features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers and will sleep up to 4 guests for true hospitality.
Santa Barbara is known for its perfect weather year-round. For that reason, we only have ceiling fans throughout the house. Our TV's are equipped with premium channels, streaming services such as Hulu and Netflix. High speed Wi-Fi is also available within the property.
The bedrooms are super-comfy and bed linens are plush and cozy. One bedroom provides a king bed, and one provides a queen bed. The kitchen offers dining for 6, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, water purifier, and is fully stocked for today's cooks and family meals. Other amenities include:
Portable Bose speaker to sync with your mobile device. Guests enjoy a brick lined patio with custom gas BBQ island, refrigerator & outdoor sink. Patio has a dining table to seat six with a fire feature in the center for warmth and ambiance. Beach chairs and towels also available for guest use. In house washer and dryer for your convenience. An iron, ironing board (both located in the walk-in closet), and hair dryers are also provided for your convenience as are bathrobes.
Pets are not allowed unless they are a service animal. There is a $50 fee per animal.
If you are traveling with a service animal we will just need to see the proper documentation. Thank you in advance for your understanding!
Casa Figueroa is a non-smoking property and available for 3 nights, weekly, or monthly rental.
Our home has been meticulously maintained and cared for and we will be staying close by and on-hand for any needed assistance.

Summary: The pictures on the Vrbo site are an accurate depiction of the interior. "What you see is what you get". It was beautifully decorated with a seashore theme. Very clean and quite comfortable for the four of us. I also just have to add the bath towels were very fluffy - felt like a 5 star hotel. We have used Vrbo properties in the past for our vacations and this by far was the best. The location to downtown Santa Barbara was great! Very walkable to shops and restaurants as well as a full grocery store less than a block away. We enjoyed the outdoor space and took advantage of the fire table for a relaxing dinner around it.

Summary: Beautiful home with convenient location walking distance to downtown. We stayed here for our wedding weekend, and it was spacious enough for a few of us to get ready in. The property manager was so communicative and helpful and responsive, and also generously shared a welcome gift basket. We had a bit of issues with the lock the first day, and the property manager was so swift in helping us troubleshoot and eventually resolve the issue for us. The property was clean and well cared for, and thoughtfully stocked. Parking around the area can be a bit tricky, so plan ahead!

Summary: Super cute home in a great location! Walking distance to State Street and the Funk Zone, as well as other historic sites. It's an older home that has been updated with all that you need, from nicely remodeled bathrooms, comfortable beds, large living room/gathering space and a full kitchen. Exactly what we needed :-)

Summary: Lovingly maintained quintessential cottage in the heart of Santa Barbara, where you can walk to pretty much any restaurant or attraction. At first, you may notice the house is across an auto mechanic shop, but we found the days and nights quite, except for the occasional dog barking next door. For very light sleepers, bring ear plugs. However, the beds were very comfortable. The master bathroom was recently renovated and was not only gorgeous but spacious and functional. Josef was very responsive and made our stay very pleasant. The kitchen is a chef's dream with a large, airy dining area. Very cozy and cute patio with gas fireplace and a monster stainless steel BBQ! Parking pass is provided for a private lot across the street (very convenient, well-lit and felt safe). Note there is no A/C (only fans and heater), but we visited during the Spring (so no need for A/C). We would definitely stay here again for an unique and memorable in-town Santa Barbara experience.
