Positive: Gem of a property! We stayed in the Lotus Suite as a family of three: myself, my husband and our 4 month old son. There was plenty of space for all of us (even with a pack and play), and the furnishings and decor were impeccable. Location can’t be beat, just a quick few minutes walk to the start of State St shops and eats. Even though there are no staff on site (so communications are handled via text), they were very prompt in answering any questions we had. Would love to stay here again.

Negative: The suite is on the first floor, so some noise from the upstairs main house unit can be heard. Nothing that a sound machine or ear plugs can’t fix though.

Negative: The location is a bit removed, but a quick drive to the beach and walkable to State Street.

Positive: Location, location! The property is walking distance to the heart of downtown Santa Barbara and cool attractions. The inn’s decor is beautiful and communication with the property staff is quick and easy.

Negative: The property is lovely but the walls are very thin. We can literally hear the other guests conversation. It also feels more of an Airbnb rental than an inn/botique hotel type.

Summary: Overall our stay is comfortable and lovely but not just how I expected it to be.

Positive: The Lotus Suite was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Would absolutely recommend staying at the Craft House.

Negative: Need better lighting in the bathroom for make-up application etc., or attach a lighted/magnifying mirror with an articulating arm on the wall.

Summary: Charming and cozy! Humberto was lovely to look after us!
