Positive: The staff were amazing and accommodating. We had two young kids and they really looked after them, and took time to entertain them. The room was really comfortable for our family. Easy access to other places to have a meal or a drink, and nice and close to the beach and surf. The owner, Sean, was a great bloke. Seemed to be always asking if we and other guests were enjoying our stay, and seemed to be always assisting with peoples plans. The are renovations taking place, and really looking forward to returning and seeing the health and well being area complete, along with the fire pit and BBQ area. The surf was super accessible and there are bikes and cars at hand if needed.

Negative: The food was great but the menu could do with some updating. At the time they were in the process of reviewing their options, and i really look forward to seeing what they have on offer next time we visit.

Negative: There’s a pool table in the lobby by the swimming pool. Someone was drinking and playing pool loudly. I was there for a road trip all the way down from Bali and I was tired. I went to bed around 9pm. Around 11pm I asked them to be quiet. Second day I changed the room but it was still noisy. Overall nice place but if you’re looking for a quiet place it’s not the right hotel.

Positive: Great location for surfing yoyos. Super easy bike rental with board rack. Pool table is always fun and a good ice breaker to meet other guests. Has everything you need as a girlfriend if your not surfing with your boyfriend. Yoga everyday was also a great bonus! Food was good and cheap.

Negative: Maybe only that you have to request to have your room cleaned but we can live with that :)

Negative: How the Villa was implemented, lacked comfortable space to put clothes, like a wardrobe, also lacked implementation in the kitchen. The breakfast was very plain.

Positive: The hotel is nice but needs maintanance The yoga lessons with Jess where the best. She adapts to your needs and offers an amazing yoga class The staff in the bar are very nice and friendly. The owner is nice and approachable.

Negative: The options of breakfast are so scarce that you need to pay extra to have a decent meal. For the price of the hotel, would be nice to have something else than a simple black tea of american coffee as a drink. The restaurant food for lunch and dinner is also not recomended. The overall hotel is nice but lacks some maintanace. The pool is good but is missing many tiles and the bottom is full of sand and dirty. The gym is good but there is a hole in the roof and when it rains the whole equipment gets wet. Our room was not cleaned once not changed our towels in a full week of our stay There is strong music from the hotel in front played until very late at night so I recommend bringing ear plugs. For the price paid the services given are really lacking quality.
