Positive: The bungalow looks just like the picture. It's a quiet area with not too much traffic although you can hear some bikes when they pass by at night. A bit out of the "central" area but a super quick bike ride from it. For the price it's a decent option if you are okay with shared bathroom, shared shower and the fact the bungalows are open.

Negative: To me it was not super clear that there is a shared bathroom and shared shower. There are 5-6 bungalows in total and a little bit of distance to get to the shower and to the bathroom which are not located in the same area. If you tend to use the bathroom a lot at night it's really a downside. The cleanliness level is not very high. The bungalows are open (this was clear) so dust and dirt can accumulate faster, the sheets did not feel clean and the bathroom was not clean at all. I did not use the showers. What was quite shocking to me was the fact that there is a pond in the middle of all these bungalows. Felt like a strange choice given the bungalows are open.

Summary: Paid for the bed (really good price) and was only there to sleep.

Positive: Amazing place! So special 😊 we had monkeys right outside our “door” and even visit. Frogs everywhere and you fall asleep to the sounds of the forest! Bathroom and shower are outdoors and it just feels magical!

Positive: Our room at Seed Village was very comfortable and clean, it is exactly as pictured in the photos. We loved enjoying a cup of tea sitting on the balcony overlooking the Koi pond. It was also really helpful to have a fridge and kettle in our room, and drinking water provided. We really liked the indoor outdoor vibe of the place, and for us, the location, surrounded by jungle, was really good. There is a secret beach located just a short walk through the jungle that is very beautiful, and where you’ll likely be the only people. The staff were also happy to store our surfboards whilst we went to explore the north of Sumbawa. I will say that when we arrived the kitchen was pretty filthy, however, the staff did take the time to deep clean it during our stay- I’m sure it will be in good condition for those staying in the future! This wasn’t a problem for us, but maybe something to consider, is that the location is probably a 10 minute drive from any food or drink options.
