Positive: Really lovely property and friendly staff. Gulhi itself is still developing with construction work happening on the island however there is still a lovely atmosphere around the property. Bikini beach has gorgeous sand and turquoise waters and an excellent way to experience the maldives on a budget. Evening meals were delicious and breakfast good with a difference of food each morning. Excellent WiFi and room facilities including a powerful shower and comfortable bed. Opportunities to book excursions through the hotel and in the surrounding areas.

Positive: Lovely hotel with the best food on the island. The room is a good size (3 people) and they clean it twice a day which is a nice bonus. The breakfast was lovely, we had a la carte lunch and dinner, also very nice. The island is very small, hotel is close to everything and they bring sunbeds to the bikini beach for free.

Negative: The aircon noise in the room was quite loud, and the room balcony (if you don't book the seaview ones) they are on a side lane and quite exposed.

Positive: The staff were lovely and the hotel itself was very pretty & always clean. My room was big and comfortable and the shared areas in the hotel were very nice.

Negative: I would recommend going B&B rather than half board as the dinner buffet selection was limited and the restaurant food was very tasty and reasonably priced.

Negative: Food was meh. The booked excursion got canceled.

Positive: A nice little boutique hotel in Gulhi that’s just a one minute walk from the main beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful arranging boat transfer and excursions. Unfortunately for us the weather was poor and we couldn’t go out on any boat excursions.

Negative: For what we paid we didn’t really notice anything that didn’t meet expectations. They couldn’t help the weather.

Positive: This hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was good. Size of the room was excellent and it was cleaning twice a day. A few metres to the bikini beach with private lounges & parasols for hotel guests.

Positive: The pre-arrival communication with the guesthouse was super. Staff are very helpfull and accomodating. The room is very good and clean

Negative: I was disappointed with Gulhi island. It is full of plastic and garbage on the floor everywhere A lot of shops/ restaurants are closed and empty A few hotels serve food, but evrywhere with blasting loudspeakers with loud, not good music The beach is rather small, loud music and the overall experience is not the pristine, relaxing atmosphere of what you would look for being on the Maledives.. A very big contrast with all the pristine resort islands...
