Negative: - Breakfast isnt served at the property. Its in a resturant, 5 mins away from the beachfront.

Positive: Great location & wonderful staff - shout out to the very helpful team at reception and the breakfast restaurant. We had a couple of questions and things we needed, and the staff was exceptionally helpful to help us out.

Positive: The hosting staff is wonderfully friendly, the location of the property near 'bikini beach' is very good. The room is spacious and there is an individual outside seating area which overlooks the beach.
Negative: Gulhi island currently is essentially a building site. This is of course nothing the host can do anything about. The island has been extended, there are new buildings going up or older ones being renovated. Across the bay a new island is being build and the ongoing noise of the building machinery can be heard all the way to the property. The property is tired and in need of an upgrade.

Positive: The staff were so helpful couldn’t do enough for you what ever you needed they went above and beyond superb also the location was excellent a stone throw away from bikini beach
Negative: It could do with a update but spoke to owner lovely guy there building a new hotel round the corner once finished their going to start renovations with the old guest house where we stayed
Summary: The Iland was very quiet the beaches were beautiful and feeding the sharks are good

Positive: First of all, I really liked Gulhi as an island choice because going to an island with only a resort on it and people to serve you feels weird to me-- and Gulhi, although very small, has nearly 1000 people on it. This is right on the water with a nice view just steps from the sand. The staff is really even better than the view!! The communication before you arrive is excellent-- and the staff there? Theeeee best!! As far as going to the Maldives and staying right on the water by a beautiful beach (two of the nearby islands actually boat over to the beach at Gulhi because it's gorgeous) you're not going to do better than this or more affordably.
