Positive: What an absolutely beautiful place to stay on Skye. We loved being so close to Portree but outside the hustle and bustle. A wonderful view of the water with total peace and quiet. The cabin is thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed to make a quick breakfast before starting our day. The interior was spotlessly clean with comfortable chairs for lounging and an incredibly cozy bed. I would give 12 stars if I could.

Summary: Comfortable, clean, picturesque and quiet. What a gem.

Positive: Perfect location for exploring the island. Very clean and comfortable, with excellent amenities and some food already provided. The view of the Storr is stunning, and just 5 minutes from the cabin you can get great pizza and other takeaway food and drinks.

Positive: Pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s an adorable cozy cabin with a private garden overlooking the mountains across the water and Portree. It really is a destination spot not just somewhere to sleep while you’re exploring the area. It’s very close to Portree and centrally located to drive to all the different sites in sky. The place was well stocked with everything you could need including a coffee maker and pods and a French press and microwave and dishes, etc. The owner, who lives in the big house next-door, came to greet us and was very responsive when we messaged through the app. .

Negative: My only complaint would be that the bed is a bit hard and the place could use new pillows. But I still give it a 10 because it was a fantastic spot, especially for the money

Positive: It was nice to have access to a kitchen that was fully equipped for cooking meals. Owners left scottish delicacies(tunnock treats),large selection of coffees and teas, milk, butter, cheese, orange juices, and waters. They provided card games to play when the weather is bad.

Negative: Cabin was a little chilly, and bathroom was very cold.

Positive: Beautiful cabin with a lovely host in a secluded area with safe parking near by. Close enough to Portree that you can sit and watch it light up at night. Every morning you get a lovely view of the old man of Storr. Shower was piping hot and kitchen facilities were good and fully stocked. The cooking facilities were good which meant you didn't always need to eat out. Bed was very comfy. Great cabin to retreat to during the rainy Skye hours before your next adventure.

Negative: Having to the leave. Weather was a bit wet but that's good old Scotland for you lol.

Summary: Fantastic cabin to base your Skye adventures from.
