Positive: Great location and Janice was very good at describing how to get to the property. The bee was great and Janice provided binoculars for dolphin and seal spotting, and a telescope for stargazing. There was a number of leaflets, brochures and business cards to help plan your days in Skye. Janice even wrote my name on a little chalk board to signify my stay area.

Positive: Janice was such a warm and inviting hostess. The accommodations were sparkling clean and comfortable and the view was gorgeous! A quick 15 minute drive to Portree.

Negative: The “beach” is very rocky with no proper trail to get down to it. My suggestions (not a criticism, just a thought) would be to put in a trail and maybe a small sitting area. And if there had been a small balcony to sit on while at our room that would have been absolutely perfect. We loved looking out the windows and using the binoculars to find wildlife but you can’t see out the windows very well when you’re seated inside.

Positive: Gorgeous location and very convenient to Portree. Facilities were great. So good to be able to cook for ourselves.

Positive: Location, isolated with great views over the lock. Lots of wildlife to watch. Thoughtfully appointed with absolutely everything we needed from binoculars to books and very well appointed kitchen area. A very comfortable bed and sitting area. Helpful and considerate hosts. Thank you, a great place to spend 3 nights and more.

Negative: If I’m being picky the tv didn’t connect to the Wi-Fi but really not a big issue for us.

Summary: It was a thoroughly relaxing and comfortable stay, a truly perfect way to spend 3 days on honeymoon.
