Enjoy this newly-renovated sanctuary in the heart of Lincoln's historic quarter. The home offers an unrivalled combination of luxurious living, impeccable Roman features and breath-taking surroundings. With a range of boutique shops, pubs, restaurants and Lincoln's stunning architecture; whether you're with family, friends or visiting for business, you'll be sure to find something to entertain all!
The Grade II listed house was built in the mid 1700's and has recently undergone an extensive renovation, completing in December 2023. The exposed stone wall in the kitchen and hall are part of an old Roman building, believed to be the Forum, inside Lindum Colonia, dating back to the 3rd century.
The house is set across three storeys and due to the listing restrictions, it isn't suitable for people that have mobility issues. The lounge, dining room, kitchen and toilet are on the ground floor. Three bedrooms and main bathroom on the first floor with the master bedroom and en-suite on the second floor.
Tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be provided for your stay along with a range of cleaning items.
The living area has Sky TV and the property has super fast wi-fi. In all bedrooms except one, there are smart TV's.
You can park for up to 1 hour at the front of the property between the hours of 8am - 6pm Monday to Saturday. There is a car park a minute or two's walk away which we would recommend - Westgate 1 East Car Park, LN1 3AS.

One of the most picturesque areas in Lincoln, Bailgate sits within the heart of the Cathedral quarter. Situated just off Castle Square, the Bailgate consists of a series of narrow streets connecting the medieval Cathedral to the Roman-built Newport Arch.
Parking on the street for 1 hour for dropping luggage (if available) there are two paid carparks that are a 2-3 minute walk from the property - Westgate 1 East Car Park - LN1 3AS.

Summary: We had a fabulous stay, the property was beautiful, very clean, and lovely decor. ideally situated for site seeing and found a lovely Italian cafe over the road, the owner was so nice. The only negative was there was not enough pots (serving dishes) for nibbles etc. everything else was perfect. Would definitely visit again.

Summary: Beautiful old building, with a superb modern interior. Clean, accommodating and brilliantly placed for city centre. Jared was amazing host, any communication was always swiftly answered and he was personable. Would definitely recommend unless struggle with stairs.
